Apparently two men want to retrieve a stolen tag they left behind.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Waterloo-area location on December 19th, where a man said that two “scruffy-looking” guys had come to look at a Bronco he had for sale. After they left, he found a car tag was left behind in the vehicle. A check on the tag at that time didn’t indicate it was stolen. Wednesday of this week, the salesman called to report the two men had not returned for the tag they left behind. Meanwhile, another check with the NCIC now indicates the tag was stolen from aGreenville man. ALaurensCounty deputy went back to the Waterloo business and picked up the tag, and entered it as having been recovered.
