An Alleged Burglary, and Larceny Early This Month Resulted In One Mans Arrest

An alleged burglary, and larceny early this month has ended with one man in the Johnson Detention Center. 22-year-old Roderick Devonzieck Anderson of 144 East Bluford Street, Clinton was charged by Laurens County Sheriff’s Deputies for Burglary1st Degree, Grand Larceny, and Possession of A Weapon During A Violent Crime. He is accused of entering a dwelling on Browning Ave, in Joanna, and of taking nine firearms, one Playstation 3, and nine Playstation games, total estimated value of $2,1000, on the 2nd of January. Anderson was also served by the Clinton Department of Public Safety with two bench warrants for Driving Under Suspension, and Trespassing. He was sentenced to pay a $470 fine, or 30 days in jail for the trespassing charge, and a fine $672.08, or 30 days in jail for the DUS charge, both to run consecutively. He remained in the Johnson Detention Center earlier this morning, pending a bond hearing for the three new charges.
