A Man’s Bond Is Set At $75,00 After He Reportedly Commits Criminal Domestic Violence

Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a gas
station at HWY 66 and I-26 in reference to an assault that occurred on Marshell
Road, Clinton yesterday morning. Upon arrival officer’s spoke with the victim who
stated that the subject and she had gotten into an argument because of the
subject giving their children suckers before bed.  The victim stated when she went to get out of
bed holding her daughter the subject told her she wasn’t going anywhere and hit
her in the face.  At this time the
subject began to choke the victim. The victim did have bruising on her left arm
and neck, which officers took photos of.

Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year-old
Anthony Kyle Waters of 286 Marshall Road, Clinton yesterday morning.

He was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence 2ndOffense.

Warrants state that Anthony Waters did cause physical harm to a victim and had the apparent present ability
to cause physical harm or injury under circumstances that reasonably created fear
of imminent peril. Defendant hit the victim in the face and choker her causing
injury to her neck and bruising to her left eye.

Bond was set at $75,000 and he remained in Johnson Detention Center this morning.
