A Man Arrested on Multiple Charges, Including Criminal Domestic Violence

A possible Criminal Domestic Violence incident was reported to Laurens Police Department late last night from independence Avenue, Laurens. The victim was spoken to when officers arrived at the location and she stated that her husband had allegedly accused her of stealing his money ad cigarette. The subject was reportedly extremely intoxicated and had been causing a scene at the location all day.  The victim advised she did not want to get kicked out of the apartment so she asked the subject to come take a nap inside but he allegedly refused and became angry and loud. The subject then reportedly began to push and pull on the victim. The subject was able to be located and he was reported to smell of alcohol and stated that the victim had allegedly hit him in the face and head and took his money. He was then informed he was being placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to
Johnson Detention Center.

42 year-old Frederick Obrian Davis of 930 West Hampton Street, Laurens was arrested by Laurens Police Department last night. He was
charged with public indication and Criminal Domestic Violence. Davis remained in Johnson Detention Center this morning,
awaiting a bond hearing.
