The Laurens County Sheriff’s office has released 42-year-old Ernest Phillip Cook of 75 Country Lane, Clinton on a $470 PR bond – following his arrest earlier this week. Ernest Cook was charged with Assault and Battery 3rd regarding a September 27th incident on Lakewood Drive,Clinton. He was accused of grabbing another man by his arms, causing bruising, in the incident last Thursday.
