Drug Arrest Made at Burglary Scene

    A man arrested Tuesday on Drug charges remained in the Laurens County Detention Center this morning, with bonds totaling $20,000.

   The arrest came while the Sheriff’s office was investigating an Armed Robbery on Stomp Springs Road east of Clinton where two armed men broke into a house and threatened a woman with a gun, then robbed the house of items worth over $15,000.      

   Sheriff’s Lt. Robert Wilkie and other officers on the scene made contact with a man wanted on two previous warrants. The suspect reportedly came out from behind a  makeshift building a short distance down Stomp Springs Road from the Armed Robbery.  51-year-old Colly John Fuller, with addresses noted on Lake Road and Stomp Springs Road,Clinton, was arrested. Being at a residence that contained items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, and of Illegal Disposal of methamphetamine at that location. This allegedly occurred at 903 Stomp Springs Road back on March 29th.

   Colly John Fuller remained in the Laurens County Detention Centerthis morning with bonds set at $15,000 on the Manufacturing Methamphetamine Charge and $5,000 on the Illegal Disposal charge.
