A 52-year-old Clinton man received treatment at the Laurens County Hospital yesterday for head trauma from an apparent aggravated assault. A Deputy, called to investigate, was told the victim had been drinking with several friends when another subject came into the room and said everybody else had to leave, then struck the victim in the forehead with a pipe. After initially wanting to cooperate with an investigation, the victim backed off as Deputy Seigler gathered information on the incident.
