Two unoccupied Laurens area homes burned this morning. Laurens City Firefighters were dispatched to a structure on Creamer Street, just off North Harper, around 12:40 am. Laurens County Fire was dispatched around a half hour later to a fire at an abandoned house on Highway 49 in the Wattsville community. Laurens City Police and the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office joined both local fire departments to investigate the fires.
Both investigations remained open.
