Lt. Governor Glenn McConnell is to visit Laurens County next week. Laurens County Council Chairman Jim Coleman announced last night that the Lt. Governor will be here October 16th as part of his tour to visit facilities that provide services to the aging population of the state across the state. Coleman said that McConnell is assessing existing aging services and hopes to gather suggestions on improvements from local seniors, caregivers, and residents.
McConnell is to also visit Abbeville, Edgefield,Greenwood, McCormick andSaludacounties.
