Victim & Alleged Instigator Charged with Disorderly Conduct

Two women and a 13-year-old male juvenile have been charged following an incident at Westchase Apartments around 4 last Sunday afternoon. Clinton Public Safety was dispatched at 4:02 pm, and told of a juvenile taking a woman’s purse. The victim, Ms. Turner, said she had put her purse on the trunk of someone’s car when the juvenile grabbed the purse and ran. Ms. Turner was reportedly yelling the “MF” expression and other expletives in front of children and adults alike. Officer Kathy Anderson asked the woman to calm down. An investigation indicated the apartment where the pocketbook had been taken. When the woman there, a Ms. Walker, heard Ms. Turner’s expletives begin again, this apparently angered her and she allegedly took off her hat and threw it on the ground, kicked off her shoes and started yelling obscenities back. Other occupants of the apartment reportedly forced her back inside.

Officers determined that Ms. Walker had asked the 13-year-old male juvenile to grab the purse and bring it to her, promising him money. The mother of the juvenile brought him to officers. The juvenile was to be charged with Petit Larceny and his case referred to the Deparatment of Juvenile Justice.

23-year-old Michele Walker of Westchase apartment U-1 was booked on charges of Public Disorderly Conduct and charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. She was later released on a $10,000 PR bond on the delinquency bond.

20-year-old Victoria Queentona Turner of 170 Cook Street,Gray Court was booked on the Public Disorderly Conduct charge. She was later released on a PR bond of $262.50.
