Hopes of having a car returned were crushed…along with the car:
A Georgia man reported a breach of trust to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday involving an unauthorized sale of a 2000 Chevrolet Caprice he owns that is valued at $2,500. He said he had loaned the vehicle to his son for the son and the son’s wife, who live in the Waterloo area, to use. The Georgia man said he has learned that the son and daughter-in-law have had marriage difficulties and that she has sold the vehicle to a metal recycling dealer, who has confirmed that the car has already been crushed. The case is being referred to investigations.
