Two Women Accused of Stealing Clothing & a Trash Can

  Clinton Public Safety served Petit Larceny warrants on two women yesterday, following their arrest Tuesday evening from an incident at a Laundromat on Willard Road. Both women were accused of stealing clothing and a trash can from the Laundromat, and of being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

  Ticketed on the paraphernalia possession charge as of 8:47 Tuesday evening were 46-year-old Barbara Joan Pugh of 137 Pine Street, in the Lydia Mill area of Clinton and 19-year-old Regina Elaine Eubanks of Colony Square Apartments at 200 Elizabeth Street,Clinton. Tickets issued on the possession charge note the offense near the intersection of Elizabeth and Oakland Streets Tuesday evening. Each woman was also served with two warrants charging Petit Larceny. Ms. Pugh and Ms. Eubanks were accused of taking clothing belonging to another woman from the Laundromat on Willard Road, and of taking a trash can that belonged to the Laundromat.

  After being held in city jail overnight, both were released yesterday morning on PR bonds of $1,092 on each of the Petit Larceny charges and $620 bond for the Paraphernalia Possession charge.
