$5,000 worth of tools were reported stolen in a burglary on Creekwood Drive, Fountain Inn, according to a Sheriff’s report yesterday. Deputy Jamie Lee Edwards was dispatched at 12:20 yesterday afternoon and talked with a man who indicated he was in the process of selling his home and had not been at the residence in three weeks or so. He said when he came to the house yesterday to look at things, he noticed his outside window A/C-Heat Pump unit was missing. He also stated his back door was open. No sign of forced entry was observed by the officer. A set of keys that were inside the house were apparently used to open a storage building and steal the tools. He also reported that a disassembled aluminum Green house was taken from the property, as well. Total value of the items taken, including household goods, was estimated at $6,800.00.
