The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked a young Simpsonville man on a General Sessions Criminal Court Bench Warrant issued last week. 17-year-old Joseph Adam Mercer, booked as a Homeless man from Simpsonville, was ordered behind bars in the Bench Warrant that states he failed to appear in court November 5th to face charges of Burglary 2nd degree. The Bench Warrant listed an address on Yellow Wood Drive, Simpsonville. Mr. Mercer is now residing in the Johnson Detention Center, pending further disposition of his case.
