A man from the town of Piedmont is now being charged with thefts in Laurens and Newberry Counties. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked 24-year-old Quandraqus Tyrelle “Quan” Robinson of 103 Bodine Drive, Piedmont on charges of 1st Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny. Sgt. Scott Franklin states that on October 3rd Quandraqus Tyrelle Robinson entered a dwelling on Fairview Church Road, Kinards without consent and with intent to commit a crime therein, and that once inside he became armed with a weapon. Robinson is accused of taking items valued in excess of $2,000 from that residence.
“Quan” Robinson was being held for arraignment on the Laurens County charges today, and was also being held for neighboringNewberryCounty, where he is wanted on another Larceny charge.
