Forgery charges were filed on a Laurens woman by Laurens City Police yesterday, citing a case from last Spring. 30-year-old Shendiya Roshae “Shy” Croft of 711 Old Farm Road, Laurens was charged with Forgery.
Detective Leann Riggott states that Ms. Croft forged and published a Wells Fargo cashiers check in the amount of $2,500 at a store on North Harper in Laurens May 23, 2012. A $10,000 surety bond was set on the Forgery Charge. Meanwhile, “Shy” Croft was also served with Bench Warrants on previous charges of Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under Suspension.
