Pizza Hut Shooting

A shooting at the Clinton Pizza Hut last night sent one man to the hospital, and put another man on the run.

Clinton Public Safety was dispatched to the Pizza Hut at 9:43 last night, and learned that one man had apparently shot another in the arm.

The injured man was reportedly listed in good condition overnight at Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was being treated for the gunshot injury to his right arm.

SLED was called to Clinton to assist in the search for the man wanted in connection with the shooting, a part-time employee of the restaurant. A SLED tracking dog assisted officers in their search for the 20-year-old suspect, which included an area outside the city limits in the Evans Drive area early this morning. The search continued until shortly after 3 am.
