Thefts include $4,000 in Farm Equipment

   Farm Equipment, tools and heavy equipment totaling $4,000 in value were reported stolen from Piney Grove School Road nearBritton Road,Gray Court, in a report filed with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office early yesterday afternoon. Owner of the equipment said he discovered it was missing after being away from the property for the past week.

  A Colt 45 valued at $1200 was reported stolen from Green Pond Road, in a report to the Laurens County Sheriff’s office yesterday afternoon. The owner gave aGreenvilleCountyman’s name as a suspect in the theft.

   A $400 radio plus three knives were discovered stolen from a Laurens man’s truck, while he was fishing at Lake Rabon yesterday. The Laurens County Sheriff’s office was dispatched at 9:15 yesterday morning, and was told the man had been fishing from 6 to 9:10 am, and first noticed a flat tire on his truck. Then he found the truck radio and knives were missing.

   Propane tanks were reportedly stolen from a camper on Erwin Mill Road  in Western Laurens county between October 15th and yesterday, according to a report to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday. Value was noted at $100.
