Clinton Makes Early Morning Drug Arrest

    Drug and traffic charges were served yesterday on a man arrested by Clinton Public Safety at 3:14 am in the Jacobs Highway area.

30-year-old Marvin Donte Farrow of 26 Peak By Pass, Little Mountain was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Surrender Driver’s License in tickets issued citing violations in the vicinity of Jacobs Highway and South Adair Street. Mr. Farrow when then served with warrants additionally charging him with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and Possession with Intent within Proximity of a School. Public Safety Officer Ritter states that Mr. Farrow had over one gram of crack cocaine in the center console of his vehicle yesterday, within a half mile of a school, and allegedly had a weighing scale in his possession in the parking lot of the Fed’s store on Jacobs Highway.

Farrow was released from theJohnsonDetentionCenteron bonds including $15,000 on the drug charges and $1,829 on the traffic charges.
