Meth Charges Served on Four Yesterday

   Methamphetamine charges were served yesterday on four people who the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested late Monday in connection with an alleged methamphetamine lab.

   They were Charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, accused of having items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine in their possession Monday; and charged with Illegal Disposal of Meth Waste. 

   Bonds totaling $20,000 were set on the two charges for 55-year-old Alfreda Spoone Taylor, known as “Freda,”  of 503 Academy Street,Clinton.

  Also remaining in the Johnson Detention Center this morning was 19-year-old Sabrina Louise Readinger of 80 Clipper Street, Enoree

   In addition to the Meth Manufacture and Disposal charges, 28-year-old Eric Allen Taylor of 1451 Bluff Road,Gray Court was also charged with Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.  His bonds totaled $25,000.

  A 4th suspect, 22-year-old James Rufus Whitehead of 169 Community Center Road, Enoree, was also charged with three charges, including Possession of a Controlled Substance, along with the Meth charges.

Bonds on the three charges were set totaling $25,000. James Whitehead was also being held for charges from Spartanburg.

   All four remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning. Their clothing was reportedly destroyed due to methamphetamine contamination.
