One man has been charged with pointing a gun at another yesterday. Laurens County Sheriff’s Lt. Robbie Haupfear was dispatched to a car lot on Lucas Avenue, Wattsville at 11:45 yesterday morning on a report that a man was at the location pointing a handgun at a Laurens man. While the officer was in route, the wife of the alleged subject in the case phoned 911 to say that they were being followed by the victim of the pointing and presenting and they were on the way to the Sheriff’s office. The victim reportedly stated that the subject had been slamming the doors of a jeep on the car lot and he told him to leave if that’s the way he was going to act. The subject then allegedly pointed the gun from his vehicle was he was leaving the scene.
