Woman Charged with Aiding Wanted Man

 

    A $100,000 cash or surety bond was set yesterday for the Strong Armed Robbery charge Laurens City Police filed on 44-year-old Henry Lee Bluford of 32 Raintree Drive, Laurens. He’s accused of forcefully taking a woman’s pocketbook from her arm on Woodrow Street in October. An additional $1,000 bond was set on the Resisting Arrest charge from the foot chase early Monday morning, resulting in his arrest from under an abandoned house onRiverside Street. And a $620 bond was set on the Simple Possession of Marijuana charge. Laurens Police attempted to arrest Henry Lee Bluford after finding him attempting to put gasoline in a stalled SUV in the big intersection of North Harper and Fleming in the 7am hour Monday.

  Meanwhile, a woman whose car was registered to her at the same address at 32 Raintree Drive was arrested yesterday by Laurens City Police. 43-year-old Tracy Carretta Harris, booked with another address at 299 Miller Road, Mauldin. She was charged with Obstruction of Justice. Detective Leann Riggott states that from approximately October 30th 2012 to November 3rd, 2012, the defendant did hinder officers from locating and apprehending a wanted fugitive and did assist Henry Lee Bluford in allowing him to use her vehicle  on Fleming Street in Laurens.
