A man who reportedly was employed by a Presbyterian College service vendor has been charged with carrying a firearm inside the Springs Campus Center Wednesday night. Clinton Public Safety Officers responded to assist campus security Wednesday night and arrested 29-year-old Christopher Anthony Lear of 1554 Sunset Blvd, Clinton. Initially, citations were issued charging him with Disorderly Conduct and having an Open Container at 10:38 pm atSpringsCenteronSouth Adair Street. After spending the night in custody, Mr. Lear was charged yesterday with Carrying or Displaying a Firearm and with Unlawful carrying of a firearm. He is accused of having a revolver in his underwear while in a public building on the PC campus. Christopher Anthony Lear was released from City Jail yesterday on Personal Recognizance bonds totaling $10,000 on the two firearm charges and just over $500 on the two citations.
