Sports Radio 1410 WPCC, the Musgrove Mill Golf Course and the United Way of Laurens County have joined forces this fall to raise funds for the United Way’s Angel Tree Program and for Christmas at the Thornwell Children’s Home.
The United Way of Laurens County is selling tickets for delicious BBQ plates to be served this Friday. James Patterson, the Chef at Musgrove Mill Golf Club, will be doing the cooking, guaranteeing some good BBQ. It’s all part of an annual tradition between Musgrove Mill and Sports Radio 1410 WPCC, selling great Bar-B-Que to raise funds for worthwhile local events.
Plates will be available for pick up this Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at WPCC Radio on Highway 72, Clinton. Plates includes BBQ, slaw, beans, and a drink. All proceeds will help provide Christmas to children in need through United Way and Thornwell.
Tickets are available at the United Way Office in Clinton, 833-3623; and from Rhonda Cruickshanks at WPCC, 833-1410.
Only two days remain to purchase tickets for this year’s event. Anyone interested should contact the United Way or Rhonda at WPCC today or tomorrow at the latest.
