Three Brothers Charged in Liquor Store Break-In

   The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has charged three Laurens area men with the Burglary of a liquor store earlier this week. They are charged with stealing $350 worth of Ciroc Alcohol from the liquor store at Kountry Korners, 20820 Highway 76 East, Laurens on Monday, December 17th. (Ciroc is apparently a brand of Vodka.) In arrest warrants served early this morning, Deputy Todd Alexander states that they entered the building by throwing a cement block through a window to commit a crime therein, then took the Ciroc alcohol valued at $350 without consent.

  Charged with Burglary 2nd Degree from the incident were 19-year-old Derrick Leon Garlington of 68 Willow Winds, Laurens along with 20-year-old Timothy Antonio “Tim” Garlington and 21-year-old Isaiah L. “Jay” Garlington Jr.; both of 94 Smart Drive, Laurens.

   The three Garlington men were being held in the Johnson Detention Center overnight, pending arraignment on the 2nd Degree Burglary charge today.
