The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Park Road, Fountain Inn at 4:48 yesterday afternoon on a report of a home being burglarized during the Christmas Holiday. A woman said they had left the house on December 18th and traveled to Texas. On returning home yesterday afternoon, they found the house had been broken into and that a number of items were missing. The point of entry appears to have been through a window at the end of the residence, by removing a window air conditioning unit. It appears the house was gone through, room by room. Items stolen included four televisions along with a cell phone, a Wii game console, a lap-top computer and a safe that contained about $4,000 worth of jewelry along with titles and other paper work.
