Laurens City Police were dispatched to Gordon Street at 10:11 last night on a report of a large crowd fighting near the Little River Amphitheater. There was also a report of possible gunshots in the area. Sgt. Jared Hunnicutt reported that on arrival officers saw several juvenile subjects running from the area. Officers approached the juveniles regarding the fight. Juveniles reportedly stated they had run from the area due to the fight, but those contacted said they were not a part of the fight. Officers Terry-frisked 17 and 19-year-old male subjects but found no weapons. Officers informed the juveniles that they were free to go, but advised them they were in violation of the city curfew and that they were to go directly home. The subjects said they would comply.
