The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office served charges on a man this morning following his arrest on another charge by Laurens City Police late last night. 55-year-old Will Davis of #15 at 200 Hardin Road, Laurens was charged with Public Intoxication on East Farley Avenue last night by Laurens City Police. Meanwhile, he has subsequently been served this morning with a warrant charging him with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. A warrant issued in March of 2012 alleges that Mr. Davis failed to contact the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office as a Sex Offender on June 30th, 2010, as required by law. Davis was being held for bond hearings today on the two charges.
