Clinton Public Safety made multiple Marijuana cases early yesterday morning following a traffic stop downtown. Public Safety Officer Phillip Wicker as on routine patrol at 4:41 am when he reportedly observed a Ford Explorer eastbound on West Carolina Avenue that had a head light not working. He made a traffic stop at the Citgo at the corner of Carolina and Broad. He reportedly smelled marijuana smoke, and investigated to find baggies with marijuana. Two 18-year-old Clinton men and a 22-year-old woman were charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana. The woman was also charged with having faulty equipment – on her vehicle.
