An investigation into an alleged assault at a business location on North Harper was being closed today, due to lack of involvement from the alleged victim. A Laurens man had cuts on his face from the altercation when police were dispatched at 9:07 Friday night. The man would not say how he was injured, and has not had contact with police since the apparent attack.
