Waterloo Meth Lab Alleged

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office allegedly located a methamphetamine lab on Arnold Lane, Waterloo Wednesday evening and obtained warrants to charge a man with multiple drug violations. 42-year-old Charles William Johnson III of 372 Arnold Lane, Waterloo was booked in the overnight hours on charges of Manufacture of Meth, Illegal Disposal of Methamphetamine Waste and with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. Johnson is accused of having items in his possession on January 16th that are used in the manufacture of methamphetamine and of illegally dispose of methamphetamine waste. He is also charged with being in possession of marijuana at 372 Arnold Lane on January 16th with intent to distribute it.

  Cash or Surety Bonds on the three charges totaled $40,000. Charles William Johnson III of Waterloo remained in the Johnson Detention Center earlier today.
