The Laurens County Deputy Sheriff Walter Summers Jr. was dispatched to Chapman Road outside Fountain Inn at 1:29 Saturday afternoon after a woman called to report her daughter had and the daughter’s boyfriend had been arguing when he assaulted her at their residence. The officer reported arriving to find the boyfriend sitting on the sofa and the girlfriend sweeping up glass from the floor. The boyfriend reportedly stated the two began to argue because the girlfriend had been drinking with one of her friends. She indicated he had pushed her down, causing injuries to her and breaking her lap-top. 29-year-old Jervoria Brandel Roberson, also known as “B-A,” who also reportedly lived in the residence with his girlfriend at 491 Chapman Road, Fountain Inn was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence. Deputy Walter Summers alleges in an arrest warrant that Mr. Roberson pushed the victim into a table and onto the floor causing bruising to her left shoulder, skinning her elbow and cutting her lip. Mr. Roberson was released from the Johnson Detention Center Sunday on posting a $2,100 bond.
