Four Suspected in String of Burglaries

  Four subjects arrested by the Laurens County Sheriff’s office Friday were being held for potential charges in connection with a recent string of burglaries in the county.   Charged with First Degree Burglary were nineteen-year-old Davante Tyshawn Pulley of 605 Apple Orchard Rd Clinton, seventeen-year-old James Saquille Gilliam of Unit 34 at 291 Chapman Rd, Fountain Inn,  twenty-five-year-old Rasham Eugene Walker of 6 Hammett St. Laurens  and twenty-three-year-old Roderick Devonzieck Anderson of Apartment 8G, Clinton Manor, Clinton. A Sheriff’s Office release stated that more charges may be forthcoming during the ongoing investigation. Bond was denied on all four subjects, who remained in the Johnson Detention Center.

  The initial charge of 1st Degree Burglary cites that the co-defendants entered a home in the 1,100 address range of Indian Mound Road, Laurens on Friday while armed with a firearm. The Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to that location at 10:04 Friday morning. A man said his wife had left the house at 8am. He arrived at 10:03 and found the house  burglarized. A 42-inch plasma TV was taken, along with a lap top, a loaded Ruger 9 mm handgun with two magazines. Additional warrants were anticipated to serve charges in connection with other recent burglaries in Laurens County.
