The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Friday on allegations of making bombs. Deputies arrested 39 years old Scott Everett Kraft of 1091 Gentry Road, Fountain Inn after the ongoing investigation of explosions being heard in the Gentry Road area near Fountain Inn. After investigating reports of several explosions in the area, Deputies reportedly determined that these explosions were occurring on the property of Mr. Kraft. A search warrant was conducted by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Bomb Squad at his Gentry Road address. Deputies state that materials used to make Improvised Explosives were found on the property. Mr. Kraft charged with two counts of manufacturing an Improvised Explosive Device. He was released from the Johnson Detention Center Saturday on $10,000 bond.
