The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday made an arrest in connection with the alleged unauthorized use of a Clinton woman’s car. 27-year-old Barbara Nicole “Nikki” Ray of 721 Lake Road, Clinton was charged with Use of Vehicle without the Owner’s Consent. She is accused of taking a 2001 burgundy Saturn belonging to a woman on Highway 76 on January 21st, without consent of the owner. During arraignment yesterday, a $5,000 cash or surety bond was set on the charge. “Nikki” Ray remained in the Laurens County Detention Center earlier today.
