Second Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested Last Night

A second suspect in the armed robbery of a Laurens convenience store was arrested last night. Laurens City Police have charged the second alleged gunman from the January 10th hold-up of the Corner Stop Store on at 1215 Greenwood Road. He is 29-year-old Travis Sentell Johnson, also known as “Bo Bo,” of 105 Russell Street, Laurens. Johnson is charged with Armed Robbery, Use of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime and with Kidnapping. Laurens City Detectives alleged that Travis Johnson was armed with a handgun when he and a codefendant took money from the Corner Stop store at gunpoint. He is also charged with unlawfully holding a woman at the store against her will during the incident at the store on the Greenwood Road. Travis “Bo Bo” Johnson was being held in the Johnson Detention Center earlier today, pending arraignment on the three charges.

  Laurens Police arrested the first of their two suspects in this Armed Robbery on Tuesday. A $50,000 cash or surety bond was set for 30-year-old Allen Unique Archie of Laurens Terrace, who also remained in the county detention center this morning.
