Items Valued Close to $9,000 Stolen Near Laurens

   Items valued at almost $9,000, including metals, were reportedly stolen from Alewine Drive, Laurens. The Sheriff’s office was dispatched at 4:21 Saturday afternoon and was told the various items were taken from the home, shed, shop and yard at the location, sometime between midnight Friday and 2pm Saturday afternoon. Items taken included tools valued at $1429, firearms valued at $1,229, $800 in farm implements, $850 worth of jewelry and included over $4,000 worth of other items.
