Wife Greeted with Gun at Bedroom

Deputies were dispatched to Hellams Circle, Gray Court at 11:39 last night on a report of a domestic problem involving a firearm. On arrival, Deputy Brent Rushing talked with the husband while Deputy Tonya Garrick talked with the wife. They report being told that the two had argued, then the man went to bed, locking the door to the bedroom. The wife reportedly knocked on the door to get a pillow from the room. When the husband opened the door, he allegedly pointed a .28 caliber Ruger pistol in her face. The husband was not armed when officers arrived, but Deputy Rushing reportedly placed the husband in investigative detention as a precaution due to the number of firearms owned by the man. The pistol allegedly pointed at the wife was located in a night stand inside the master bedroom.

53-year-old Randy Darrell Flanagan of 1017 Hellams Circle, Gray Court was placed in the Johnson Detention Center this morning, where he was being held for a warrant that was to be obtained to charge him with Criminal Domestic Violence of a high and Aggravated Nature.
