State Probation and Parole yesterday placed a man in the Laurens County Detention Center, charged with failure to follow special conditions of his community supervision release. 55-year-old Michael Woodruff of 210 Cow Tail Road, Gray Court was charged with Violation of Probation. Failures cited in the arrest warrant included failures to pay his supervisory fee and to pay on his GPS electronic monitoring fee. Mr. Woodruff is also charged with letting his GPS monitoring unit run out of power so that his movements could not be monitored. He is otherwise charged with failing to following the advice of his supervising agent. A Cash or Surety Bond was set at $50,000. Michael Woodruff remained in the Johnson Detention Center earlier today.
