A man arrested on traffic offenses back in December was being held in the Johnson Detention Center this morning, pending a pickup for transfer to the State of Delaware.
25-year-old Robert Louis Viana of Wilmington, Delaware was arrested in December on a traffic offense and a charge of Failure to Stop for a Blue Light. Following a plea entered in General Sessions Court, Mr. Viana was sentenced to 93 days already served on the Failure to Stop for a Blue Light charge. Monday of this week he was served with a warrant in Laurens County charging him with being a Fugitive from Justice, stating he is wanted in his home state of Delaware for an offense that, if convicted, would have a sentence of one year or more. He remained in the Laurens County Detention Center this morning, pending pickup for Delaware.
