Marijuana Suspect Released on Bond

 A Waterloo man was released on bond yesterday after being served with a warrant charging him with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. Laurens Police Officers arrested 22-year-old Randall Sherodrick Moore of 5312 Todd Quarter Road, Waterloo after he reportedly drove a car up to a safety checkpoint on Conway Avenue at 12:40 yesterday morning. He was allegedly driving by himself on a beginner’s permit.

Detective Bentley stats that based on information of Sgt. Joey Pittman, Randall Sherodrick Moore had 36 gram of marijuana in his possession with intent to distribute. The warrant states the marijuana was in two separate glass jars that were in a backpack that contained a digital scale and several plastic bags. The marijuana was allegedly located in the trunk of the vehicle that Randall Moore was driving on Conway Avenue in Laurens. During the investigation, Sgt. Joey Pittman reportedly discovered some 36 grams of marijuana being transported in the car, along with plastic baggies and a digital scale. Randall Moore was released from the Johnson Detention Center on bonds that included $20,000 for the Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He also posted a $237 bond for the alleged Violation of his Beginner’s Permit.
