Two Ware Shoals residents were arrested yesterday on Methamphetamine Manufacturing charges. The Laurens County Sheriff’s office booked 50-year-old Deborah Clamp Bayne of 1761 Powerhouse Road, Ware Shoals and 21-year-old Jordan Moody of 90 Smith Street Extension, Ware Shoals. They’re each charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Illegal Disposal of Methamphetamine Waste yesterday. In warrants, Corporal Nick Moye states that upon investigation by Lt. Marlon Higgenbotham it was determined that Bayne and Moody had items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine in their possession March 28th at 1761 Powerhouse Road, that they illegally disposed of methamphetamine waste. Jordan Moody was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine at 1761 Powerhouse Road March 28th with Intent to Distribute. Deborah Bayne was also charged with Possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine. Deborah Clamp Bayne and Jordan Moody remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning. Bonds on the three charges totaled $45,000 for each defendant.
