Four juveniles were being questioned by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office this morning, after allegedly being found in a stolen vehicle. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen car from Willow Winds Drive around 4 o’clock this morning. Laurens City Police reportedly observed the vehicle and made a traffic-stop a few minutes before 6 am. Deputies escorted four juveniles who were inside the vehicle to the Sheriff’s office for questioning. They were two males and two females in their teens. One of the females allegedly took her grandmother’s vehicle then picked up the others. She was expected to be charged under juvenile statues with auto theft. Charges pending on the others were likely to include possession of a stolen vehicle. Runaway charges were also possible in at least one of the juveniles.
