A man stopped on a Speeding Citation last fall was charged yesterday with Multiple Offenses regarding the alleged giving of an incorrect name for the speeding ticket. 29-year-old Antonio Stephen Herrandez Flores, also known as “Tony,” of 205 Spring Street, Laurens was served with warrants from Highway Patrol Trooper J.T. Morf. Mr. Herrandez-Flores is charged with Driving without a South Carolina Driver’s License in his name on November 30th, 2012, of presenting a drivers license belonging to another person that was fraudulently obtained, of speeding 69 miles per hour in a 45-mile-per-hour zone, and of Giving False Information by providing another name to the officer when stopped on US 221, Laurens on November 30th, 2012. Tony Herrandez-Flores remained in the Johnson Detention Center overnight, pending arraignment on the charges.
