Domestic Violence, Burglary & Grand Larceny Charged

 Laurens County Sheriff’s Officers arrested a Clinton man Friday on charges that included a domestic assault last Thursday and two thefts from two other Madden Road Locations in the past five months. 36-year-old Donnie Jeff Shealy of 511 Madden Road, Clinton, who is also known as “Graham Cracker,” was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence and Malicious Injury from an incident last Thursday. Cpl Nick Moye states that Donny Shealy assaulted a woman with whom he lives by striking her in the face at their residence on April 25th and that he did less than $1,000 damage to her vehicle by slashing two of her tires.   

In a warrant charging Shealy with 2nd Degree Burglary, Lt. Jawarski Shelton alleges that on November 29th 2012 he entered another dwelling on Madden Road, Clinton without consent and with Intent to Commit a crime therein. He’s accused with Petit Larceny for allegedly taking a water heater from that residence. Lt. Shelton charges Donnie Shealy with Grand Larceny from an alleged incident February 19th of this year, when he is accused of taking away a central air conditioning unit valued at $3,000 from another location on Madden Road. Donnie Shealy remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning with bonds totaling in excess of $25,000 on the six charges.
