Six Arrested at Two “Meth Labs” Friday

 The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office received a tip about a methamphetamine lab at a residence in the Green Pond Community and visited that location in the pre-dawn hours Friday morning. Two men were arrested as a result of the investigation. 22-year-old Christopher Paul “Chris” McCord and 28-year-old Joseph Shane Brooks, both of 125 Barnyard Court, Gray Court. …charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and with Illegal Disposal of Methamphetamine Waste.

They’re both charged with having possession of items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine Friday at 125 Barnyard Court, and of illegally disposing of methamphetamine waste. Bonds for both men were set this weekend totaling $13,000.

Christopher “Chris” McCord and Joseph Shane Brooks remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.

 

 Later Friday, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people for their alleged involvement in manufacturing methamphetamine at 679 Smith Village Road, Waterloo. Charged with having items used in the manufacture of meth there were 47-year-old Roy Ellis Smith of 679 Smith Village Road, Waterloo; 28-year-old Tricia Nicole Bowick of 123 Shrine Club Road, Greenwood and 45-year-old Keri Ann Kensinger of 497 Relax Street, Waterloo. Charged with Manufacturing Meth and also with Possession of a Controlled Substance from Friday was 40-year-old Tracy Lee Crane of 798 Flymm Smith Road, Waterloo. She was being held in the Johnson Detention Center with bonds totaling $15,000. The others were being held with bonds of $10,000.
