Man Wanted 6 Years Arrested at 3am Today

   The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man this morning who has been wanted by the South Carolina Department of Probation, Pardon and Parole since 2007. The man had apparently recently moved back to Clinton from East Tennessee. Deputy Cpl Nick Moye learned about a possible location for the man this morning. He and other officers then went to a residence on Hemlock Drive outside Clinton around 3 AM today and found the man asleep at the residence. 30-year-old Richard Bryan Ray, now of 71 Hemlock Drive, Clinton, was taken into custody without incident. He was placed in the Johnson Detention Center to be served with the charges from State Probation. Cpl Moye also issued a citation for Simple Possession of Marijuana.
