Two Fugitives from Justice

 The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday arrested a woman wanted in Pennsylvania. 35-year-old Ruth Guadalupe of 25 Clark Street, Laurens was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice. A warrant from the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole orders Ms. Guadalupe’s arrest. It was signed in Harrisburg earlier this month on June 4th. In a Fugitive from Justice Warrant obtained June 12th, Laurens County Deputy Huber Tomlinson alleges that Ruth Guadalupe is a fugitive from justice in Pennsylvania, where she is charged with crimes that carry a sentence of one year or more. Bond was denied on the Fugitive from Justice charge yesterday, and Ruth Guadalupe remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning, pending extradition to Pennsylvania. 

   The Laurens County Sheriff’s office arrested a Western Laurens County resident on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Nebraska. 24-year-old Anthony Paul Portelli of 18317 Highway 25, Ware Shoals was served with a Fugitive from Justice warrant in which Deputy Brian Willard states Portelli is wanted in Nebraska where he is charged with crimes that carry a sentence of one year or more. A Bench Warrant for his arrest on traffic and theft charges was issued in Sarpy County Nebraska this past March. Anthony Paul Portelli was being held in the Johnson Detention center for Federal Marshals.
