4 Years for Distribution

 A Laurens woman was sentenced yesterday in Laurens County General Sessions Criminal Court after entering a plea on a Distribution of Crack Cocaine offense.

  55-year-old Julia Mae Johnson of 245 Lee Street, Laurens was initially sentenced to Fifteen years in the State Department of Corrections for the May 11th, 2011 distribution.

That sentence was suspended to two years in prison followed by four years probation.  Julia Johnson remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning, pending transfer to the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
