Attempted Murder

 The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office served an Attempted Murder charge on a Laurens teen yesterday. 17-year-old Breundazz Shondre Higgins of 1123 Sunset Park, Laurens was charged with Attempted Murder and with Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime. Sgt. Scott Franklin states that Higgins attempted to murder by shooting the victim, causing great bodily injury that required him to seek medical treatment. The incident allegedly occurred May 19th at 208 Walker Road, Laurens.

The victim noted in the warrant is a Clinton man arrested Wednesday on drug trafficking and firearm charges.

Bonds on “Dazz” Higgins were set yesterday at $100,000 for the Attempted Murder charge and $25,000 for the Firearms charge. Higgins remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
